This is Catherine (they/them)

Catherine is a kind, creative, kick-ass mom & all around super-cool person.
Catherine joined the Anti-Diet Workout Club when it very first started. They’ve been at every one since. In their words “Billie’s Anti-Diet Workout Club is so much better than I expected it to be”. They were hooked.

They come to as many live classes as their busy mom-ing life allows. They participate in the social time, exploring the ways that diet-culture may have effected movement in the past.
In the workout club they found a safe space, where they could learn to listen to their body, and connect with themselves again.
They could connect to a community of like-minded folx.
They actually found themselves looking forward to the workout club each week.
They began making small ripples of diet-culture rebellion,
in turn making some big waves in their life.

Join The Club

Before the Club Catherine:
-often ignored their body’s needs
-put movement at the bottom of their priority list
-put using their body & movement to find joy at the bottom of their list
-felt like movement was a chore, or a ‘should’
-dreaded movement
-pushed off movement until guilt overwhelmed them to do something

After the Club Catherine:
-listens to their body & needs better
-let’s go of any guilt that comes up when they need rest
-knows any movement is good movement: whatever it looks like, or how long it takes
-knows moving their body can bring joy!
-second guesses themselves less. They know their strength, and capabilities & they know they can accomplish way more than they thought.

That’s not all.

Catherine’s relationship to their body, and movement changed entirely; which effects how they feel in their day-to-day too. Making a step away from diet-culture in movement may just seem like oh that’s just a workout thing. But it’s not separate.
Deciding to change your relationship to your body & movement is a big revolt, it’s one that creates waves. It creates waves in your life, and the lives of folx around you.

It effects how Catherine shows up as a mom. They…
-spend less time feeling guilty about their body or doubting their capability.
-can be more active with their kids.
-spend more time being present.
-can adapt any physical playtime to work for their body’s needs in the moment.
-don’t feel like they’re missing out. They can be fully engaged in making memories with their children.

It effects how Catherine shows up at work. They…
-are more aware of their body.
-use movement as a tool to create joy, and ground.
-feel more mentally focused & clear headed.
-is better able to stay focused on tasks & goals they have.

“Billie’s Anti-Diet Workout Club is so much more than I expected it to be - in the best way! I initially joined their program to bring exercise back into my life after it took a major backseat the last few years. Instead not only did I get an enjoyable workout class but I also found a like-minded community with similar goals toward movement/exercise not based in typical diet culture/fatphobia. It was extremely refreshing and really created a safe-space that was completely free of any kind of judgment, which I haven’t felt before. I personally love the length of the classes. They’re easy to fit into my schedule (busy mom of 2 kids) and are great for a beginner, or if you’re just getting back into working out after awhile. Makes you feel super accomplished when you finish a class and don’t feel like keeling over afterwards lol. Despite their short length, Billie does a great job giving your body a full workout. I always leave their class feeling like I’ve worked out each part of my body. Even in the short amount of time I’ve been doing the class, I already feel the difference. I feel stronger and more flexible. Billie also makes it very easy to watch recorded classes later on. Which is great if you aren’t able to make the live time, or want to workout more than once that week, or want to double the length of your workout that day. If you are looking for a full body work out in a safe space with some good laughs, I’d 100% recommend this program!”
