Creating more queer inclusive spaces is about more than putting a rainbow sticker on your door. In this workshop Billie Smith (they/she) and Andy Bachman (they/she) will facilitate an educational conversation about queer terminology, history, steps you can follow to create more Queer friendly spaces, as well as why this work is important. This workshop is self-paced, and split up into sections: The Basics, History & Why This Matters, & Tangible Steps.

We will collectively design agreements for our sharing space, hoping to create a welcoming environment where folks feel safer to learn and grow than out in the big wide world.
